This jack is a real bargain for the price and I say this as someone who has done extensive welding over the last 34 years. Cost is just over two hundred delivered here in Canada. It was mostly the bad reviews that sold me on this one. They were dreamers who forgot to factor in the fact you can't buy champagne on a beer budget. The first complaint they had was it being rated to handle 2000lbs in the ad and in reality is more like 1100lbs just like all the other exactly same jacks made under different names listed on Amazon. That was easy to figure out before I ordered it. My one bike is 750lbs and the other 550lbs that gives me a bit of safety factor. One guy said the main lift bolt broke and the jack came down almost damaged his bike had he not been hanging onto it. OK... I could see that happening. Especially if he used an impact wrench on it. Either way I will be making wood blocks to insert into the spot shown in the pic to keep the jack from coming down were the main adjustment bolt to ever break. This will be an added safety factor and will take only a few minutes to make. After all most don't realize all steel ain't the same. Thinking made in China means cheap is wrong. Paying two hundred dollars is what makes it cheap which is exactly what makes it great value! The other "way better" jack I was looking at would have cost me around $1,200 up here in Canada. I like the fact that the jack can be lifted out of the mobile base for tighter spaces. Something that will be needed on my lowered softail. Thus the wheeled base could be used for other stuff around my studio. It also has a nice black finish. Being a wheel man I will likely upgrade the wheels even though the ones on it seem to be more than adequate. The wheels themselves are solid steel. The overall quality of the build looks pretty dam good to me. In fact I am even thinking of ordering another. I am noticing that the quality of products made in China is skyrocketing. Overall this one is a very well made jack at an incredible price! The other jack I was looking at was hugely better though it would have cost me twelve hundred dollars by the time I got it here in Canada!

I purchased two Pyle Motorcycle Scissor Jack Lifts w/ Wheels two days before I worked in a church. We moved 19 pews and re-set them using the Pyle lifts. I ordered the Pyle lofts on Thursday and had them on Saturday. As the photo shows, the Pyle jacks did all of the work instead of lifting pews by hand. The concrete floor sloped so having two locking casters on the Pyle dolly plate would have been a handy feature. The Pyle scissors lifts are well made and the scissors lifts moved up and down smoothly. This Pyle product is an exceptional value which saved valuable labor time.

Incredibly useful for removing the engine from my 1965 Volkswagen Bus. I should’ve bought this a long time ago. I personally just used a wrench once I got it snug under the engine to raise or lower it. Rolls around easy and also makes a great stool for when I’m working in my van’s engine bay. Lots of value.

The minimum height listed is of the scissor platform only. Minimum height listed does not include the 1-1/4" additional height of the wheel platform. Distance between ground and bottom of wheel platform is about 1-1/8". Since the wheel platform is likely to be used on flat, hard surface, they could have made the ground clearance smaller. With the scissor lift setting inside the wheel platform, I cannot roll it under my 2004 Harley 1200c Sportster. I have to use a two-step process to get my Sportster raised. Put the scissor lift under the Sportster without the wheeled platform. Raise the motorcycle enough to put a 2x6" block of wood under both wheels and the kickstand. Lower the lift back down, put the lift on the wheeled platform, then put it back under the motorcycle to raise it. Revers the process to get the motorcycle off the lift. When the motorcycle is on the lift and wheeled platform, on cement, it is very easy to roll it around and get it into the tight space in my garage. Very stable. To make it a little more stable, put a ratchet strap around the motor and platform. One other note; the weight capacity listed is of the lift only when NOT setting on the wheeled platform. The wheeled platform uses hard plastic wheels that I think are only rated for about 150-lbs. each. This cuts the overall weight rating in half to about 600-lbs. when used on the roll-around platform. I like the use of a hex-head nut on the lift shaft. I use a 7/8" socket chucked into a 3/8" battery powered drill, on low speed to operate the jack. Watch out for a large amount of torque required when operating the drill, it easily twisted in my hand. Use both hands on the drill. Engineering/manufacturing change requested: Please modify the wheeled platform to make it lower to the ground. It should only be used on a hard, flat surface anyhow, so you can reduce the ground clearance to 1/2" (or less) and make it easier to use with low setting motorcycles. Use higher strength wheels (steel). When one of these plastic wheels break and sends a 600-800 lb. motorcycle tumbling onto a person or a child, serious injury or death could occur. WARNING!!! Please keep children away when lower, raising or moving a motorcycle on this lift! Do not let children climb or sit on motorcycle when motorcycle is on this lift. Other then the above ground clearance problem and the cheap plastic wheels, this is a very good lift at a very reasonable price. Thank you for making it available.
