I have a Triumph speedmaster, which doesn't have a centre stand, and is murder to lube chain/ clean rear wheel. The stand does the job well, with a few notes. 1. I cannot use the support saddles on the stand, as my bike is sooooo low, so I sat it straight on the tray with no problems. in fact I think it makes it safer. 2. the box spanner takes a while to lift the bike, I used a socket much faster! 3. NOW THIS IS THE IMPORTANT ONE, It is supplied with a safety pin, that stops the jack crashing to the ground incase it fails, great idea but ... not the manufactures fault but mine, in my excitement to lower said bike, ive forgot to remove the pin and put all my weight on ratchet wondering why its not going down! result one bent safety pin or sheered nut (both of which I did, but have repaired this is a very good jack, ive made my own modifications, and its working really well, have had no issues of bike toppling over etc, I use this for minor work such as cleaning chain or rear wheel, it does the job just fine, very pleased with purchase.

Had to replace Headrace bearing with no centre stand on the bike. This Scissor Jack was brilliant my 220kg Multistrada was nothing to this little Jack. Easy to adjust when taking front wheel out and steady. Great bit of kit.
