I use this to raise and lower a router fitted to a router table. Criticisms in other reviews are a bit misplaced. The knob may come off; but this is just a case of tightening the locking nut. Also be aware this is for raising and lowering small items; NOT your car.

After having a closer look at the product photos, there seems to be two different versions. One with a sturdy base screwed to the jack and with nuts on the ends of the bolts. The other type, which I received, is inferior with a flimsy base welded to the jack and no end nuts on most of the bolts. Fortunately my demands aren't too great, so it will suffice for my needs. Note that the minimum height isn't accurate. It says 45 mm, though it's closer to 55 mm. Not a huge problem, but those extra mm would have been useful to me as I'm using this in a laser cutter. The max height is pretty accurate. Overall it works for me, but the quality is lacking for the price.
